Yreka, CA – Deadly Dirt Bike Accident After Man Crashes into Vehicle
Yreka, CA (September 17, 2018) – On Thursday, September 13, one person was killed in a deadly dirt bike accident. The accident took place on U.S. Forest Service Road 46N22 in the afternoon.
The person who lost his life was identified as 44-year-old Ronald Kistle of Yreka. At the time, Kitsle had been traveling on a dirt bike uphill on the road when he went around a curve in the road. He then crashed into a 1969 Dodge truck that was driving down the hill.
Kistle suffered a fractured leg, among other injuries due to the accident and was responsive. However, because there was no phone service in the area, it took quite some time for paramedics to arrive, and sadly, he did not survive his injuries.
The driver of the Dodge was identified as 44-year-old Amber Roberts. She was taken into custody for driving a stolen vehicle and for an outstanding warrant.
