Yolo County, CA: Pedestrian Killed in Hit-and-Run Crash in Woodland
Yolo County, California (March 28, 2018): The Traffic Division with the Woodland Police Department has launched an active investigation into a fatal hit-and-run pedestrian crash on County Road 98 in Woodland, CA early Friday morning, March 23, 2018. The victim has been identified as 32-year-old Kyle Fowler, of Zamora, CA.
Officials believe Fowler was hit by an unidentified vehicle sometime before 7:00 a.m. and emergency response crews were quickly dispatched to the scene after someone notified authorities to the presence of a body on the east shoulder along the northbound lanes of County Road 98, near West Beamer Street. Very few details about the incident have been made publicly available and police are asking that anyone with information contact them as soon as possible.
