Willowbrook, CA – Fatal Pedestrian Accident at Compton Ave & Imperial Hwy

Willowbrook, CA (September 8, 2023) – On Sunday evening in Willowbrook, the fire department was called to the scene of a traffic incident involving a driver and pedestrian.

The Los Angeles County Fire Department was called to the intersection of Compton Avenue and East Imperial Highway at around 9:15 p.m., where they discovered the victim, who was subsequently pronounced dead. The car involved was found close by, with apparent front-end damage.

The driver may have been hurt, but it wasn’t clear whether he or she was taken to the hospital. The accident has yet to have a definitive cause determined.
