Wrongful Deaths in Willow Creek
Losing someone you love is, without question, one of the most difficult tragedies anyone can endure. It can make circumstances worse when you know the death was caused at the hands of a negligent party. In California, wrongful death is one that was caused by someone else’s negligent or nefarious actions.
These types of claims may be filed if the behavior that caused the death would have placed the deceased in a situation to file a personal injury claim if they had survived. A wrongful death suit can, therefore, be understood in the same manner as a personal injury lawsuit but it is one in which the injured person is incapable of filing on their own behalf because they are dead.
