Los Angeles Pedestrian Accidents
We extend our thoughts and sympathies to the man hurt in this pedestrian accident.
Drivers who drive under the influence endanger everyone on the roadway, including pedestrians. Although it is not clear exactly how this crash took place, it appears that alcohol played a role. The use of alcohol slows reaction times and interferes with depth and object perception. Therefore, a pedestrian in the path of a DUI driver has a much greater risk of being struck by a vehicle. DUI drivers are not able to react to driving situations the same way that a sober driver would.
