Southern California DUI Accidents
This DUI accident highlights many of the dangers of drinking and driving.
DUI remains a major problem across California, with numbers of those killed or injured in DUI accidents increasing slightly over the past few years. In a DUI crash, anyone can be affected. In some cases, it is other innocent motorists, while in other cases it may be the driver or their passengers. Sadly, two passengers died in this crash. Riding with an impaired driver is just as dangerous as operating a vehicle yourself while under the influence.
Further investigation will determine why the vehicle left the roadway. Following this investigation, the family members of the deceased victims may bring a wrongful death lawsuit against the driver. In California, when a Los Angeles DUI crash results in death, it is evident that negligence occurred somewhere. This negligence is the basis behind the lawsuit.
