Vista, CA – Deputy Car Accident Leads to Injuries in Three People
Vista, CA (August 28, 2018) – A Deputy car accident took place that led to injuries in three people at East Vista Way and East Bobier Drive. The deputy was also hospitalized following the incident.
The accident took place around 3 p.m. on August 26. At the time, a San Diego County Sheriff’s deputy was driving his SUV heading north when he collided with a 2017 Lexus. The patrol vehicle entered into the intersection with its emergency lights and sirens on. It was struck by the Lexus, which was coming from the westbound side.
The deputy was quickly taken to the Palomar Medical Center with minor injuries. The 53-year-old man and 51-year-old woman were also hospitalized with various injuries.
The accident is still under investigation.
