Tulare County, CA – Fatal DUI Crash Takes Life of 27-Year-Old
Tulare County, CA (September 15, 2018) – 27-year-old Elizabeth Ramirez was identified as the woman who lost her life in a fatal DUI crash on Thursday night, September 13. One person was arrested.
The woman lost her life when a suspected DUI driver was fleeing from police and drove through a stop sign. This caused them to slam head-on into her Nissan Altima. The crash happened on Highway 216 according to police.
23-year-old Luis Cabrera-Ponce was arrested following the DUI crash that killed the young woman. Police say that Ramirez died at the scene of the accident. Meanwhile, Cabrera-Ponce suffered a broken leg and was taken to the hospital to be treated for his injuries.
