Tulare County, CA – One Man Killed and Another Injured in Tulare County Crash
Tulare County, California (October 25, 2018) – A 43-year-old Lindsay man was killed and one other person was injured Wednesday afternoon in a traffic accident in Tulare County, according to a local police. The California Highway Patrol reported that the fatal crash transpired at approximately 3:30 pm on Wednesday, October 24th on Avenue 245 at Road 212. At this time, no detailed information concerning the identities of the people involved in the accident has been revealed.
According to investigators, the 43-year-old Lindsay man was driving a 2006 Chevrolet pickup westbound on Avenue 245 approaching a stop sign at Road 212. At this time, 37-year-old Jedediah Choate, of Exeter, was operating a Ford Ranger pickup traveling northbound on Road 212. Jedediah Choate reportedly had the right of way when the crash occurred. As per the CHP officials, the Lindsay driver ran a red light and drove in front of Choate’s Ranger. The Ranger then broadsided the Chevrolet, sending the Chevrolet into a tree, flipping the Ranger over. Sometime later, emergency crews were dispatched to the scene where paramedics were able to render aid to the injured victims. The driver of the Chevrolet was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. His name has not been yet released pending identification and notification of family. The current physical condition of the injured victims was not immediately released.
Presently, an investigation into the crash is ongoing. As more evidence continues to surface. More information will be available to public sources.
