Tulare County, CA – Brittany Briscoe Killed, One Injured in Head-On Crash
Tulare County, CA (August 6, 2018) – One person was killed and another critically injured in a crash that took place early Sunday morning in Tulare County.
Brittany Briscoe, 21, was operating a Chevy Malibu near Avenue 192 and Spacer Drive. For unknown reasons, Briscoe suddenly swerved into the oncoming lane of travel and struck a Chevrolet Silverado head-on. The crash occurred around 5:00 am.
California Highway Patrol was called to investigate the crash. CHP reports that Briscoe died at the scene. The driver of the Silverado suffered critical injuries and is in a local hospital receiving treatment. There is no word on whether any other individuals were involved or hurt in the crash.
CHP is still investigating the crash and is attempting to determine its cause. At this time the investigation remains ongoing.
