Tulare, CA – Bicyclist Killed in Terra Bella Accident on Avenue 88

The initial police report indicates,  the girl was riding her bicycle on Avenue 88 when she ran a red light and drove into the path of an unidentified car. The driver of the unidentified vehicle did attempt to stop at the time of the collision. Sometime later, emergency crews were dispatched to the scene and rendered aid to the injured bicyclist. The injured girl was rushed to Kaweah Delta Hospital to evaluate the injuries she sustained upon impact.  sadly, she succumbed to her injuries and died at the hospital. According to investigators, the girl was not wearing head protection.

The fatal accident remains under investigation. As more evidence continues to surface, more information will be available to the public.
