Trinidad, CA – Highway Collision Results in Minor Injury
Trinidad, CA (December 13, 2012) – According to preliminary police reports, on Wednesday afternoon along Highway 101, an accident involving a tractor-trailer and a passenger vehicle took place. Local authorities said a tractor loaded with logs crashed in the 11100 block of the highway at Big Lagoon Park Road shortly before 1:30 in the afternoon.
Paramedics and other first responders to the scene of the accident found the truck driver lying on the roadway. He appeared to be unharmed. Shortly before 6:00 in the evening the California Highway Patrol changed the status of the accident from “no injuries” to “only minor injuries”. Additionally, it is still uncertain exactly how many vehicles were involved in the wreckage.
The exact circumstances that led to the accident continue to remain under investigation, despite local authorities.
