Torrance, CA – Driver Arrested After Fatal Hit-and-Run Accident
Torrance, CA (October 4, 2018) – In Torrance, a 37-year-old identified as Thomas Hudson was arrested following a fatal hit-and-run accident that took the life of a bicyclist. Police said he has been caught.
At the time of the incident, 32-year-old Jonathan Valbuena was riding a bicycle when he was struck and killed by a hit-and-run driver. The bicyclist was struck around 5 a.m. at Hawthorne Boulevard and 227th Street.
Valbuena died at the scene of the accident. Police received information that the suspect drove away in a tan or light gold Toyota. Police investigated and were able to locate the suspect and his vehicle.
