Stockton, CA – One Person Killed in Serious Bicycle Accident
Stockton, CA (September 29, 2018) – One person lost their life in a serious bicycle accident. The bicyclist was identified as a 64-year-old man who died in the accident Thursday night, September 26.
The accident took place in the area of Harding and Airport that night around 8:11 p.m. The 64-year-old man was riding his bicycle when suddenly, for unknown reasons, he was struck by a Ford Mustang at the intersection of East Harding and North Airport.
Paramedics arrived and found the cyclist with major injuries, so he was quickly transported to the hospital but died while there.
Police confirmed that the 22-year-old Mustang driver stopped and cooperated with authorities in the accident, but the accident is still under investigation at this time.
