St. Helena, CA – Fatal Wreck on Hwy 29
St. Helena, CA (November 19, 2019) – A head-on collision on Highway 29 early on Tuesday, November 19th claimed the lives of 32-year-old Jonathan Thorn, a resident of Lower Lake, and 68-year-old Andress Hatch, a resident of Yountville.
Police and paramedics were dispatched to the scene of the accident at around 2:10 a.m. on Highway 29 not far from Bale Lane.
According to preliminary reports, Hatch was driving south on Highway 29 in his 2014 Chevrolet Sonic when, for reasons that have yet to be determined, the car swerved across the roadway and directly into oncoming traffic. It then collided head-first with a 2010 Toyota Prius.
Hatch and Thorn were both pronounced dead at the scene.
