Sonora, CA – Fatal Bicycle Accident Involving Another Vehicle

Sonora, CA (September 9, 2018) – A fatal bicycle accident took place on Saturday, September 8 that caused fatal injuries to one party. Police said it happened around 6 p.m. on Columbia Way.

The fatal wreck took the life of the bicyclist, whose name has not yet been disclosed. Following the crash, police had to shut down the area of roadway between Parrots Ferry Road and Jack Page Road so that the accident could be investigated.

All parties remained at the scene to cooperate with police.
