Sonoma County, CA: Bus Crash on Highway 1 in Rohnert Park
Sonoma County, California (March 28, 2018): The California Highway Patrol is investigating a presumed single-vehicle DUI bus crash at the Golden Gate Bridge in Rohnert Park on Sunday morning, March 25, 2018. The total number of passengers on the bus at the time of the crash is unknown, but, fortunately, no victims have reported sustaining injuries at this time.
Officials believe the collision happened just before 9:30 a.m. and authorities quickly began to receive multiple calls reporting that a 2004 passenger bus had crashed into the right side rail of the Golden Gate bridge. The bus continued for nearly an hour until being stopped by Rohnert Park Department Public Safety Officers upon reaching the parking lot of Graton Resort and Casino. The bus driver, 34-year-old Angela Teasley, was arrested and booked on suspicion of DUI. No additional information has been made available to the public.
