Santa Fe Springs, CA – One Person Injured in Motorcycle Accident on the 605 Freeway

Santa Fe Springs, California (October 25, 2018) – A motorcyclist was injured after being struck by a vehicle in Santa Fe Springs on Wednesday evening, October 24th. According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision transpired at approximately 4:23 pm on the southbound lanes of Interstate 605 Freeway near Slauson Avenue. At this time, no detailed information concerning the identities of the people involved in the crash has been revealed.

According to local authorities, a motorcycle and Toyota Corolla were traveling southbound on Interstate 605, when for indeterminate reasons, the vehicles collided. The paramedics that were dispatched to the scene found the rider down on the HOV lane of the freeway. Investigators did not disclose the severity of the injuries sustained by the victim. Police are still trying to determine the sequence of events leading up to the collision.
