Santa Cruz County, CA: Two-Vehicle Hit-and-Run Crash in Boulder Creek
Santa Cruz County, California (March 2, 2018): Police are still searching for a driver who fled the scene of a motor vehicle crash on Highway 236 in Boulder Creek early Tuesday afternoon, February 27, 2018. Only limited information has been made available to the public while the investigation into the collision remains ongoing.
Details about the manner in which the accident unfolded are sparse, but officials believe the two vehicles, a silver Toyota Corolla and a blue Ford Focus, collided just before 1:00 p.m. on Highway 236 near Central Avenue. A driver and passenger in the Toyota were injured in the crash and they were transported from the scene to a nearby hospital by emergency responders. The driver of the Ford fled the scene and it is unclear whether any occupants in that vehicle were injured. No additional information has been provided at this time.
