Santa Clara County, CA: School Bus Crash in San Jose
Santa Clara County, California (March 18, 2018): Authorities are conducting an active investigation into a hit-and-run collision involving a school bus carrying 32 children in San Jose, CA, on Thursday morning, March 15, 2018. Officials believe the collision happened just after 10:00 a.m. when a hit-and-run driver collided with a school bus in the northbound lanes of Highway 101 connector to Highway 880. The bus stopped along the side of Highway 101 and emergency response crews were swiftly dispatched to the accident scene to attend to the children and other occupants of the bus. At least two people were transported to hospitals for injuries following the accident and another two people were reportedly treated at the scene.
