Santa Clara County, CA: Motorcyclist Injured in Gilroy Collision
Santa Clara County, California (April 10, 2018): The California Highway Patrol is conducting an ongoing investigation into a collision between a motorcycle and a Chevy Silverado in Gilroy, CA, early Sunday evening, April 8, 2010. Investigators are continuing to gather information and only limited details have been released to the public at this time.
Officials believe the collision happened just before 6:00 p.m. when a motorcycle struck the rear of a Chevy Silverado at the intersection of Highway 152 and Bloomfield Avenue. The motorcycle was reportedly occupied by two people, both of whom were found on the road by emergency responders at the scene. At least one person was transported to San Juan Regional Medical Center with serious injuries. The cause of the accident remains under investigation and no additional information has been made available.
