Santa Barbara, CA – Man in Wheelchair Struck in Hit-and-Run Accident
Santa Barbara, CA (August 25, 2018) – In a hit-and-run accident, a driver struck a man in a wheelchair and then fled the scene in Santa Barbara. The accident happened yesterday afternoon.
Police say that the incident took place at the intersection of Nogales and Bath Streets. The details on how and why the victim was struck have not been released. The victim received injuries but was not taken to the hospital.
The driver who struck the man was driving a white Ford F-150 at the time and the vehicle fled the scene. Witnesses and the victim said that it is possible that the vehicle has a broken headlight.
Police continue to investigate the crash.
