San Mateo County, CA – One Person Injured in Bicycle Crash on Highway 92
San Mateo County, California (October 29, 2018) – Officials have confirmed, one person has sustained injuries as a result of a collision that occurred between a bicycle and a vehicle on Sunday morning in San Mateo County. The incident transpired on Highway 92 just west of Canada Road at approximately 11 am on Sunday, October 28th. No detailed information concerning the identities of the people involved in the accident has been released.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the bicycle and car collided, for unknown reasons, in the westbound lanes of highway 92 near the Interstate Highway 280 interchange. Emergency crews were dispatched to the scene of the accident and transported the bicyclist to a local hospital to treat injuries sustained upon impact of the collision. The current physical condition of the bicyclist has not been revealed. Authorities are trying to determine the sequence of events leading up to the accident.
