San Mateo County, CA: Motorcyclist Injured in Daly City Crash
San Mateo County, California (February 21, 2018): A motorcyclist was injured in a crash with a black Ford sedan in Daly City early Monday afternoon, February 19, 2018. The California Highway Patrol is conducting an ongoing investigation into the collision and details remain limited while investigators continue their work.
While the precise manner in which the accident unfolded is unknown, it is believed that the motorcycle collided with the sedan just after 12:00 p.m. in the southbound lanes of 280 Freeway, slightly north of Serramonte Boulevard. The force of the collision caused the sedan to overturn, but it is unknown whether any of the occupants of the vehicle suffered injuries.
Paramedics discovered the motorcyclist on the road when they arrived at the scene. The victim was then transported via ambulance to San Francisco General Hospital to be treated for road rash related injuries. No further information has been provided at this time.
