San Luis Obispo, CA – Officer Injured in Crash
San Luis Obispo, CA (November 30, 2018) – A California Highway Patrol member was injured in an automobile accident along on Highway 101 on 26, November, a Monday, according to the California Coast tines.
Shortly before 11:00 Monday morning, just south of Marsh Street, according to the San Luis Obispo unit California Highway Patrol, Officer Molinar was seen assisting a driver who had a flat tire on Highway 101, northbound. Turning her emergency flashers on, Molinar parked her service vehicle behind the stopped car in the center divider with its emergency lights on. As Molinar was conducting a traffic stop an oncoming vehicle struck the end of the patrol unit. Both Molinar and the driver who hit the California Highway Patrol vehicle sustained minor injuries as a result of the accident.
