San Jose, CA – Fatal Accident on McKean Road in San Jose

San Jose, CA (September 21, 2018) – On Wednesday afternoon, September 19, a fatal accident took place on McKean Road. Police responded to the scene just south of Bailey Avenue at 2:15 p.m.

Police said that two vehicles collided head-on along McKean Road. One of the vehicles flipped onto its side due to the crash. One person was trapped inside one of these vehicles and had to be extricated by paramedics and fire officials.

Police say that a 32-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident but his name has not yet been released. McKean Road was shut down in both directions until about 7 p.m. in the evening while police investigated.
