San Jose, CA – DUI Crash on Highway 101 Leads to Two Injuries
San Jose, CA (August 26, 2018) – Two people received injuries in a DUI crash that happened on Highway 101. The accident happened early Saturday due to a drunk driver.
At the time, police said 37-year-old Michael Tran was driving a Tesla and headed southbound. He suddenly collided into a fire ending that had stopped in the far right lane. At the time, it had its emergency lights activated.
Tran and his passenger received minor injuries and were taken to the San Jose hospital for treatment. Officials were able to determine hat Tran was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol.
The crash is still being investigated.
