San Jose, CA – Bicyclist Hospitalized Following Train Accident

San Jose, CA (September 3, 2018) – A bicyclist was hospitalized following a serious train accident in South San Jose. The accident happened last afternoon around 2:50 p.m.

Authorities say that the incident took place on the Santa Teresa-Alum Rock line at the station in Santa Teresa. The rider of the bicycle was pinned under the train after they were struck.

The victim was then taken to the hospital with a variety of severe injuries. Police are working on their investigation at this time.
