San Joaquin County, CA – Major Car Accident on Highway 4
San Joaquin County, CA (September 29, 2018) – A 3-year-old child was seriously injured in a major car accident that took place on Highway 4. The accident happened yesterday afternoon, September 28.
The California Highway Patrol responded to the scene around 3:20 p.m. to find that two vehicles collided head-on at the Contra Costa County line. Paramedics responded and attended to a 3-year-old child who received serious injuries as a result. The toddler had to be airlifted to the hospital but her condition is not disclosed.
A section of the highway was closed following the accident. Right now, an investigation into the matter continues.
