San Joaquin County, CA: Pedestrian Killed in Stockton Hit-and-Run Crash
San Joaquin County, California (February 26, 2018): A pedestrian was killed in a fatal hit-and-run accident in Stockton, CA late Saturday evening, February 24, 2018. The victim’s identity has not been disclosed and very little information about the crash has been made available to the public at this time.
The incident was reported to authorities around 7:30 p.m. and the Stockton Police Department responded to the scene at the intersection of South Airport Way and East Hazelton Avenue. Officials believe the pedestrian was struck by a silver SUV while crossing the intersection inside the marked crosswalk. The driver reportedly fled the scene traveling north on Airport Way and has since turned himself into the Stockton Police Department.
