San Francisco, CA – Woman Killed in Fatal Crash at Vermont Street
San Francisco, CA (April 5, 2019) – Around 3:00 a.m. on Sunday, a fatal crash took place in the area of Cesar Chavez and Vermont Street that took the life of a woman. Police have since identified the woman as 31-year-old Phala Neuo, of Richmond.
The crash took place at the intersection in the early morning hours under a bridge for Highway 101.
Neuo had been the passenger in a silver Chevy sedan driven by a 32-year-old man. Their vehicle was struck by a silver Nissan for reasons that are not yet known.
Paramedics and other emergency responders were called to the scene of the accident. They transported the female victim to the hospital, where she tragically passed away due to severe injuries. The driver of the sedan and the 16-year-old driver of the vehicle that struck them were both treated and released from the hospital.
Police continue their investigation into the circumstances of the accident.
