San Francisco, CA – Serious Pedestrian Accident Leads to Severe Injuries
San Francisco, CA (August 24, 2018) – A serious pedestrian accident led to severe injuries in one person in the area of Jerrold Avenue early Thursday, according to San Francisco police.
The accident was reported yesterday around 1:20 a.m. in the Bayview District. When officials arrived, they found that a male pedestrian had been crossing the street when he was suddenly struck by a vehicle. Paramedics attended to the victim, who had sustained life-threatening injuries. He was quickly transported to the hospital for further treatment.
The driver involved in the accident stopped and stayed at the scene after hitting the man. Authorities continue to investigate the cause of the accident.
