San Francisco, CA – One Passes Following Fatal Pedestrian Accident
San Francisco, CA (November 7, 2018) – On Monday, November 5, one person passed away following a fatal pedestrian accident at Powell and Vallejo. The accident happened in the intersection of the road around 12:37 p.m.
The accident took place in the Chinatown district. The victim, who was unidentified by police, was walking inside a marked crosswalk while they were struck by the driver. The victim did not survive and was, unfortunately, pronounced dead at the scene.
Police investigating said that the driver remained on the scene and cooperated with police. They were not believed to have been under the influence at the time of the accident.
At this time, police continue to investigate the circumstances leading up to the accident.
