San Francisco, CA: Pedestrian Injured in Collision with Bus
San Francisco, California (March 30, 2018): Authorities are conducting an investigation into a pedestrian collision with a municipal bus in San Francisco, CA, late Monday morning, March 26, 2018. The injured victim has not yet been identified and very few details have been made publicly available as information about the incident is still being gathered.
Officials believe that the incident happened just before 11:30 a.m. when a female pedestrian stepped off the sidewalk onto Market Street and was hit by a bus approaching the intersection of Market and Fourth Street. The pedestrian was not in a designated crosswalk at the time of the collision, according to reports. Emergency response crews were dispatched to the scene and discovered the pedestrian on the ground, bleeding from a head injury. She was transported to San Francisco General Hospital for treatment.
