San Francisco, CA: Driver Killed In Single-Vehicle Truck Crash

San Francisco, California (February 16, 2018): A local San Francisco resident was killed in a single-vehicle crash early Friday morning, February 9, 2018. The victim has been identified as 42-year-old Jeremy Gordon.

Gordon, an employee of Recology Sunset Scavenger, was driving a garbage truck around 6:00 a.m. when the vehicle crashed under unknown circumstances near the intersection of Potrero Avenue and 22nd Street, near Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital. Gordon was reportedly pronounced dead at the scene. No other vehicles or individuals were reported to have been involved in the collision.

An ongoing investigation into this terrible crash is being conducted by officials from the San Francisco Police Department and the State Division of Occupational Safety and Health. No additional information has been made available at this time.
