San Francisco, CA – Crash Near Treasure Island Injures One
San Francisco, CA (August 10, 2018) – A crash on Thursday on Interstate 80, near Treasure Island, left a motorcyclist injured. The motorcycle and a silver sedan collided at the on ramp to Interstate 80 just before 2:00 pm. The female motorcycle rider was thrown from her bike following the collision and was found lying in the roadway.
The sedan driver, as well as a nearby Nissan Pathfinder, both stopped to render aid to the injured motorcyclist following the crash. The extent of the woman’s injuries are not known at this time. There is no information on the identify of the sedan driver or the motorcyclist.
Police are still looking into how this accident took place. At this time, no word on the cause of the crash is available while the investigation remains ongoing.
