San Diego, CA – Woman Seriously Injured in Palm Avenue Pedestrian Accident
San Diego, CA (September 27, 2018) – In San Diego, a woman was left with serious injuries following a pedestrian accident. The accident took place on Wednesday, September 26, along Palm Avenue.
Police said that they responded to the scene around 5 a.m. in the Egger Highlands neighborhood. A female pedestrian had been walking south across the roadway when she was suddenly struck by a vehicle.
The victim was immediately transported to the hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. At this time, her name and condition have not been released.
A 28-year-old had been driving the Ford SUV that struck her and stayed at the scene of the accident to cooperate with police. The accident is still being investigated at this time.
