San Diego County, CA – One Person Killed in Fatal Collision on State Route 79
San Diego County, GA (January 3, 2018) – 66-year-old Thomas Theobald was killed in a fatal accident that took place on State Route 79 last week in Warner Springs, according to police.
Police arrived at the scene of the accident around 8:42 p.m. near Linton Road. The CHP reported that the drivers of a Ford pickup truck and a Toyota Prius collided head-on at the intersection.
Theobald had been driving one of the involved vehicles and was critically injured. Emergency responders say that he was airlifted to the emergency room for multiple fractures and never regained consciousness. He tragically passed away the next morning.
At this time, police have not released information on whether or not anyone else was injured in the accident. The investigation into the matter continues at this time.
