San Diego County, CA: Fatal Motorcycle Collision in Vista
San Diego County, California (April 4, 2018): Authorities are conducting an ongoing investigation into a fatal collision between a Toyota Camry and multiple motorcycles in Vista, CA, early Saturday evening, March 31, 2018. The California Highway Patrol has identified the deceased victim as 50-year-old James Warner.
Warner, a member of the Grifter’s Motorcycle Club, is believed to have been traveling with several other motorcyclists on East Vista Way when, around 6:30 p.m., Warner’s motorcycle and at least two others collided with a Toyota Camry just north of Foothill Drive. Five motorcyclists, including Warner, were transported from the scene to a nearby hospital to be treated for injuries sustained in the crash. Warner was reportedly pronounced dead at the hospital a short while later. No information about the condition of the other riders has been released. The driver of the Camry reportedly remained on the scene and is believed to be cooperating with the investigation. Information is still being gathered and no additional details have been made publicly available at this time.
