San Diego, CA – Woman Electrocuted, Killed in Crash on Euclid Ave
San Diego, CA (August 30, 2023) – A woman was killed in an auto accident on San Diego’s Euclid Avenue on Tuesday, according to local authorities.
A fire was started when a vehicle with a driver and one passenger went off the road and collided with an electrified utility box. Rescuers were also unable to reach the two victims in a timely manner as a result.
A 22-year-old female passenger escaped the burning vehicle but was electrocuted and died at the scene. The driver’s current condition is unknown.
The San Diego Police Department’s Traffic Division is looking into the accident. Anyone with more information is urged to call Crime Stoppers.
