San Diego, CA – Two Hurt in House Fire at Loyola Ct
San Diego, CA (September 8, 2023) – On Friday morning, a home fire in South Bay resulted in two injuries, one of which was sustained by a firefighter.
The Chula Vista Fire Department (CVFD) reported that a fire broke out at a home in the 1800 block of Loyola Court just before 5:00 a.m.
Authorities say several individuals were inside the house at the time of the blaze, with the homeowner sustaining significant burns and having to be hospitalized.
Officials from the fire department said that one of the firefighters who responded to the incident was treated for mild heat exhaustion.
The CVFD’s public information officer, Rich Eagan, has said that they are currently looking into the cause of the incident.
