San Diego, CA – Suspect Arrested in Fatal Hit-and-Run on Adams Ave
San Diego, CA (September 6, 2023) – A suspect has been apprehended after a fatal hit-and-run in University Heights.
The victim, a 47-year-old man, was struck by a car on his way to work at Cheers on Adams Avenue.
The driver fled the scene, and a few days later, the victim was declared dead at the hospital.
On Tuesday morning, police located the suspect about a mile from the collision site at 3800 7th Avenue and placed him under arrest. Officials say the suspect was arrested and placed in prison without bail.
