San Diego, CA – Pedestrians Struck on Ocean Beach Pier in Hit-and-Run Crash
San Diego, CA (June 18, 2019)- Two people were struck on the Ocean Beach Pier on early Tuesday morning.
Reports claim that a black hatchback was speeding at approximately 50 mph on the pier before hitting a man and woman who were fishing. The car made a U-turn and collided with a police cruiser before fleeing the scene. The vehicle is believed to be an Acura that was last seen on West Point Loma Boulevard.
The victims did not suffer life-threatening injuries and the incident remains under investigation.
