San Diego, CA – Pedestrian Killed at Intersection of Del Sol and Dennery
San Diego, CA (July 30, 2018) – A pedestrian is dead following a Monday morning collision in San Diego. At approximately 7:10 am, the pedestrian was struck near the intersection of Del Sol Boulevard and Dennery Road. The roads connect to Interstate 805 Freeway.
The pedestrian was critically injured and died at the scene. It appears as though the driver remained on scene to cooperate with authorities. Police closed both directions of the road while the investigation remained ongoing.
There is no word on what caused this crash. Officials have not shared any additional details regarding whether the driver will be charged or the identity of the pedestrian. San Diego police are still investigating the collision.
