San Diego, CA – Multi-Car Wreck Causes Fatality on I-15 at Mira Mesa

San Diego, CA (August 19, 2023) – Multiple drivers collided early Saturday morning on Interstate 15 in San Diego, resulting in one fatality, according to officials.

According to troopers with the California Highway Patrol, the incident took place about 4:30 a.m. north of Mira Mesa Boulevard on the northbound side of the freeway.

The CHP reported that a Scion and a Toyota RAV4 were involved in the collision, though it’s unclear if any other people were injured.

Police are still trying to determine the circumstances surrounding the wreck and have not released further details.
