San Diego, CA – Motorcyclist Critically Injured on Friars Rd
San Diego, CA (November 20, 2019) – A motorcycle rider was critically injured following a traffic accident on Friars Road on Saturday, November 9th.
The accident happened at about 12:15 a.m. in the 10000 block of Friars Road.
According to police, a 56-year-old man was riding his motorcycle eastbound along Friars Road when a pedestrian walked out in front of him. The motorcycle and the pedestrian collided.
The biker ran up on the curb and then crashed into the pole of a streetlight causing him to sustain serious injuries.
Paramedics transported the victim to a local hospital for immediate medical treatment.
Police confirmed that the pedestrian fled the accident scene.
