San Diego, CA – Man Hospitalized After Motorcycle Wreck at Torrey Pines Rd & Little St
San Diego, CA (August 7, 2023) – On Sunday, a two-car accident in La Jolla injured one motorcyclist, according to San Diego police.
The San Diego Police Department reports that the incident occurred around 9:00 p.m. near the corner of Torrey Pines Road and Little Street.
Initial information from the scene indicates that a 19-year-old man traveling in a Dodge Challenger on Little Street turned west onto Torrey Pines Road, pulling out in front of a motorcyclist traveling in the same direction.
The motorcyclist, a 61-year-old man riding on a Harley Davidson, sustained several fractures in his right leg and was transferred to a local hospital. The driver of the Challenger was unharmed.
Police do not believe drugs or alcohol contributed to the crash, but their investigation remains ongoing.
