San Diego, CA – Head-on Collision Occurs on San Pasqual Valley Rd, Injuring Four Victims
San Diego, CA (August 11, 2023) – An 18-year-old driver in San Diego lost control of his Honda Accord on Tuesday and slammed head-on into a Dodge Ram pickup, resulting in a number of serious injuries.
Officer Robert Heims of the San Diego Police Department said that, around 4:15 p.m., police were dispatched to the 16000 block of San Pasqual Valley Road to investigate a head-on collision between a Honda traveling west on San Pasqual Valley and a 54-year-old man driving an eastbound Dodge Ram truck.
According to Heims, the Honda driver was rushed to the hospital with fractures in both legs. Two other people riding in the Honda were also seriously injured and sent to the hospital. Officers added that the driver of the Ram sustained minor to moderate injuries.
The San Diego PD’s Traffic Division is looking into the accident. Information about the collision should be reported to Crime Stoppers.
