San Diego, CA – Couple Dies After Two-Vehicle Wreck on Woodman St at Jamie Ave
San Diego, CA (August 6, 2023) – A two-car collision in San Diego’s Bay Terraces area earlier this week resulted in the death of two victims.
Two drivers collided at the intersection of South Woodman Street and Jamie Avenue at around 9:50 p.m. on Tuesday, prompting a response from the San Diego Police Department.
According to SDPD Sergeant K. Gibson, the investigation revealed that a 24-year-old man driving a southbound Honda collided with a 56-year-old man driving a 2006 Kia Sedona, which had failed to give the right of way before turning into Woodman.
One man in the Honda was thrown from the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the site of the crash by paramedics.
The man’s wife was taken to Scripps Mercy Hospital in San Diego, where she died from multiple blunt force injuries on Sunday.
No citations or charges have been filed, but San Diego officers are still investigating.
We would like to offer our deepest condolences to the deceased victims’ families.
