San Diego, CA (August 3, 2023) – On Thursday, police reported that a child on a bike was hit by a car in Logan Heights and was sent to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

According to the San Diego Police Department, the accident occurred at around 1:50 p.m. on Wednesday near the intersection of Ocean View Boulevard and 29th Street.

The 10-year-old boy was taken to Rady Children’s Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, per SDPD Lieutenant Adam Sharki. The driver remained at the site to cooperate with authorities.
